October 21, 2009: Mingle & Network Happy Hour

We wanted to try something different than previous meetings by holding a Happy Hour and Member Showcase on October 21st. Our main objective is to provide expert speakers and topics of interest to our Photoshop community, but as we grow in size, we’ve become a strong community for networking and sharing opportunities for business, employment, events, and even friendship! The objective of these Happy Hour and Member Showcases would be to encourage such networking.

Would you like these type of meetings to be regularly scheduled? Any thoughts and/or suggestions are welcome.

We are extending an invitation to SFPSUG members to showcase your businesses or services by renting a table at our monthly meetings. The round tables  (4′ diameter) are positioned with great visibility as members enter Town Hall.

You are welcome to display your work and provide handouts to attendees. Additionally, we will include your business information in our meeting announcements and also announce your business name at the beginning of meetings prior to presentations.

Cost is $40 per table per meeting. The funds will be used to provide food and beverages for meetings.  If you are interested, please contact us.

As you may know, funds are donated by sponsors, and with these funds we are able to provide beverages and snacks during meetings. We are happy to announce that AMD has been generous in offering to sponsor our group from October 2009 through March 2010. With their sponsorship, we are able to provide light appetizers and drinks.
